‘The Blueprint” 10 year Anniversary
by: Cory Banks of The Hip Hop Discussion

The classic album “The Blueprint” by Jay-Z is celebrating it’s 10th anniversary.  With producers like Kanye West and Just Blaze it was called soulful, yet commercial; witty, while intimate; revolutionary, but gangsta by Vibe Magazine.

Also dropping on the same day of the 9/11 attacks in 2001 and still going #1 this album.   This is a symbol of Jay-z’s career, winning against all odds!.  In a recent interview Jay-Z was asked where he was when the attacks happen on 9/11 & his response was in L.A. recording “Girls Girls Girls”.  Hov wanted to remember the first responders and held a charity concert at Madison Square Garden in New York  called “Answer the Call”.  All proceed will go to the families of the New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund.

Tameka “Tiny” Cottle isn’t holding her tongue as it pertains to her feelings about her husband T.I.’s return to prison. She’s complained again to the media about the unfair treatment her hubby has received from law enforcement authorities.

“It’s important that the world know how unfair he’s being treated on such minor charges … all because he’s T.I.,” she told TMZ. “There are way more dangerous and carefree [celebrities] that get slapped on the wrist and sent on their way.”

“Our family needs [him] … and because of someone’s personal vendetta against him, we have to watch our kids’ sad faces everyday when he still doesn’t show up at home,” she added.
